Hey!
Its been a while and it's going to be a while more unfortunally. BUT DEVELOPMENT WILL EXPONENTIALLY INCREASE IN TWO MONTHS TIME! :D
News are i've been busy with life things, amonst them is my drivers license permit to which i had to pass a theoretical exam in which you could only get 3/30 questions wrong, more and you would fail and would have to pay alot of money to try again (because Portugal). I PASSED! :D Now the easy part, ZE DRIVING!
But I haven't been idle on CP, sometimes I model things, amongst them are these two wonderfull machines which i tried to texture decently to give you an idea of the look i'm looking for!
To the left we have an Stronk Sowiet Ural 4320 truck for mass transport of stalinium which is used to make the even Stronker tank on the right, the T-44 Medium Tank! :D
The tracks may "look" 3d but actually they are texture! I'm using a method for animating tracks similar (if not equal to) WarThunder's method for example.
Anyhow, one might ask, what are these going to be used for!?!?!
Well the tank...tanking obviously, but that will come later, i made it because I unlocked the T-44 in WT and I was in love with it!
The Ural has a more special purpose. When the time comes I will program the part that lets you get in and out of vehicles by approaching them and pressing E for example. Unity speaking: First Person Controller and colision boxes.
Then I will install a simple driving script with animated wheels and other cool stuff...well...driving xD
And THEN I will implement a few models which i'm working on of....drum roll please....HOUSES, MAPS , SCHOOLS, BARNS, HANGARS, FIRE STATIONS, BARRACKS, and alot of other cool Sh*t! :D
Will implement it all into unity for a small little town next to an airbase, which you can explore! This will be the placeholder for a VERY small part of the map, this is when I plan to release a Demo. After this being acomplished I will work on shooting, inventory and vehicle combat. After that its onto Steam Early Acess hopefully.
Now here is the more personal part:
You may and with very good reason ask: Odin's Beard Stryker! Why in the Hel will you go to steam Early Acess and not just make the game!!??!?!
For several reasons! Mostly financial, but the three biggest reasons are to prove myself that I can and WILL make a living out of this, second reason is to pay for Uni (important) and third reason is to buy myself a car! This obviously is the last and least important reason but its more really a "why not?" :) So there you have it.
